Thunderhawk Music is a full entertainment company founded by Ike “Thunderhawk” Moses January 2006. We offer many entertainment services including Karaoke, DJ, Native American Flute performances by Thunderhawk and much more. Our current focus is on Thunderhawk as an artist and his album "First Flight".
Back when we first released the CD “First Flight” we would ask the people who were buying it how they liked it. Besides the normal comments, “its beautiful music” and others like that, there was one response that we got over and over again, “I like the first song but I keep falling asleep so I haven’t listened to the whole thing”. We would usually tell those people to listen to it when they were busy doing something or moving around. It was because of that common response that the artist, Ike “Thunderhawk” Moses gave this album as a gift to a friend of ours who told him that he had serious issues on getting to and staying asleep. Our friend is a soldier in the US Army who had returned from Iraq over a year previous to this conversation and still had issues trying to sleep. In hope of bringing our friend some comfort, Ike gave him a copy. Ike instructed our friend to use the CD at night when he went to bed, and we are happy to report that our friend, to this day, uses this album to obtain a good nights rest. After learning the effects this music has had on people with problems sleeping, we decided to set out on a quest to help as many people we can and also track the results so that maybe we could get together a study to validate our results. We began donating CDs to veterans and soldiers with PTSD and other problems that affected their sleep. We only asked for one thing, report back to us on how well it worked for them.
To date we have donated over 100 CDs to Veterans and current Soldiers, and the results since have been phenomenal. Every individual to whom had issues regarding quality of sleep, reported from the very first night of using the CD as a tool had a good quality sleep. These individuals consistently report that
1. They still use “First Flight” often.
2. They get a good quality sleep EVERY time they use the album.
The variety of people that have been given the CD has been diverse.
We have had people:
1) Suffering from cancer who couldn’t sleep from the pain
2) Suffering from PTSD who couldn’t sleep because of nightmares or couldn’t get to sleep.
3) A child who had nightmares because he had had no contact with his mother who was stationed in Iraq.
4) Eric’s son who would lay awake for hours for no apparent reason.
5) Even Thunderhawk’s own children who will not sleep without it.
If you or anyone you know, of any age, are having issues of any kind with sleep; please take advantage of this tool.
Having a solid success rate, we are moving forward. We are currently putting together a survey for you. The intent of this survey is to assist us in the tracking of the “First Flight” CD’s effect on each individual’s results upon using this tool. Also we would like to hear from anyone who is interested in conducting a professional study on these effects. Once again our goal is to learn just how much this can help people.
